The entire sandwich degree students of Ekiti State University (EKSU) in affiliation with Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), set of 2016 wish to express dissatisfaction over the oppressive treatment of the students for unwarranted delay of our result and certificate due to non remittance of our paid tuition fee by AOCOED management into EKSU account as claimed by EKSU management.
This is so disheartening and uncalled for. It is an act of oppression and threat to the future of the students. Many students need this result to further studies, seek promotion in offices and secure appointment in various organizations. Some of us have lost various job opportunities and disqualified for promotion for non evidence of graduation.
We cannot stand aloof for AOCOED and EKSU to ruin our lives due to money laundry, fund mismanagement and embezzlement among themselves while our future is a stake.
This is the tuition fees we hustled to pay with our hard-earned money and no student would be allowed to sit for examination if one kobo remained unpaid.
Students of our sets in other campuses for the same EKSU program have been issued their result and even up to 2017 set while our 2015 set are yet to collect statement of result let alone certificate.
We hereby seek indulgence of ICPC, EFCC, Lagos State House of Assembly, Ekiti State University management and all human right organization to help involve in this matter to investigate the corrupt practices and financial crime perpetrated by the management of AOCOED for their failure to remit our tuitions into EKSU account. So that our result and certificate can be processed without further delay.
Many of us are growing into ages where certificate will become useless to get jobs and thereby render our lives into miserable conditions and the earlier the better.
We will be glad if immediate attention is put towards this long standing issues and we thank you in anticipation of your support.
